Communication Coordinator

Do you have a good understanding of the cultural gap between Canadian and French cultures? BC Talents from France has exciting volunteer opportunities for you to be immersed in the multi-cultural management in Vancouver, BC. You’ll be joining an entrepreneurial team of career-focused volunteers who support French-speaking talents in enhancing their careers.

We’re are looking for like-minded individuals to have fun while contributing to the community. As a volunteer, you’ll gain local experience in the Canadian environment that adds value to your career. Most of all, you’ll tap into a diverse network of fun professionals who support your career growth.

As the Communication Coordinator, you will be coordinating with Communication volunteers to deliver digital content on behalf of BC Talents. Working directly with the Communication Associate and  the Co-founder, the Communication Coordinator lead communication projects to help improve our services to the BC Talents community.

Main duties

  • Write content for our member audience on subjects related to career enhancement such as mentorship, newcomers tips, and job search.
  • Collaborate with Communication team to develop communication strategy to increase reach of targeted audience.
  • Develop Social Media contents for LinkedIn, Facebook, blog, and email campaigns.
  • Publish digital evergreen  content, and emailing campaigns.
  • Contribute to monthly volunteer meetings to enhance organization brand and community presence.


Who we’re looking for

  • Entrepreneurial minded individuals who are self starters and  resourceful
  • Creative writer who enjoys producing engaging content and pays attention to details
  • Interest or experience on topic in career development, job search, and cultural integration
  • Ability to commit 12 hours a month for a minimum duration of 5 months
