Catherine Fournier, officer employment at le Programme d'immigration francophone de la Colombie Britannique, will talk about how to use your resume, how important it is to be visible online (LinkedIn), and how to make networking and informal interview a must.

Exceptionally this event is held the second Tuesday of the month, but usually the CONNECTWorking is the first Tuesday of each month, event hosted by BC talents from France.

We welcome members of the French community from all over the world, newcomers and workers, and invite them to learn about a work-related topic. A specialist keynote speaker usually gives the presentation and facilitates a discussion with members of the audience.

The presentation provides some useful tips about job search, work-related issues, and Canadian culture. It is also a time to brainstorm ideas, share experiences and learn from each other. At the end of the workshop, people are encouraged to nurture their network in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

The Dunn's Famous offers 15% discount on soft drinks to all our CONNECTWorking attendees.
