This CONNECTWorking will be on ''How to Avoid Cultural Missteps in Business''

Elizabeth Rush, entrepreneur, translator, and teacher, will walk us through what are the most common mistakes that newcomers do in their business environment when they arrive in Vancouver, and of course how to avoid them! Her tips will provide you with excellent hands-on solutions, answers, clarification about the cultural differences. Come and understand better the business community you are diving in!

Our mission

We welcome members of the French community from all over the world, newcomers, and workers, and invite them to learn about a work-related topic. A specialist keynote speaker usually gives the presentation and facilitates a discussion with members of the audience.

Our promises

Our presentations will provide some useful tips about job search, work-related issues, and Canadian culture. It is also a time to brainstorm ideas, share experiences and learn from each other. At the end of the workshop, people are encouraged to nurture their network in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
