This is a French speaking event but please note that the presentation will exceptionally be held in English.

Our November event will be about: Transferable skills, real assets for your job search!

Spencer Gee, Communications Consultant at UBC and Educacentre College and Mark Sissons, Photo Journalist and Editor at Telus Business Solutions, will share their experience and knowledge of the job search and will explain why transferable skills are so important to reach your objectives.

The first Tuesday of each month, BC talents from France hosts the CONNECTWorking event.

We welcome members of the French community from all over the world, newcomers and workers, and invite them to learn about a work-related topic. A specialist keynote speaker usually gives the presentation and facilitates a discussion with members of the audience.

The presentation provides some useful tips about job search, work-related issues, and Canadian culture. It is also a time to brainstorm ideas, share experiences and learn from each other. At the end of the workshop, people are encouraged to nurture their network in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

The Dunn's Famous offers 15% discount on soft drinks to all our CONNECTWorking attendees.
