The account manager will be responsible for achieving both sales and growth targets by developing strong relationships with flow and mid-ticket broker clients for Western Canada.

Job Objective

The account manager will be responsible for achieving both sales and growth targets by developing strong relationships with flow and mid-ticket broker clients for Western Canada.

Responsibilities

Research, Source, and develop opportunities within the territory that are compatible with HCCC/CLE target criteria

Elevate and create strong relationships through sales strategies with flow and mid-ticket brokers in face to face meetings.

Explain HCCC/CLE’s financial products and programs to support a strong value proposition that demonstrates why why brokers should choose HCCC/CLE as a funding partner

Negotiate, develop, and present program proposals, pricing, and terms with brokers in order to  increase sales penetration

Actively manage a sales call schedule to adequately cover the assigned territory in a time-efficient manner

Work and communicate effectively with the internal credit, administration, and head office team to ensure operational synergy

Provide accurate and insightful reports on a timely basis, including: sales call, prospect, and pipeline reports

Train and communicate with brokers accounts about about effective HCCC/CLE processes for credit and adminstration submissions.

Develop and Liaise with mid-ticket brokers to qualify and prepare standard requirements for credit submissions. Including credit write up and business overview, financial statements and analysis, and compiling into a relevant and well-prepared package

Communicate and negotiate the terms of a transaction decisions, and structures

Build and mainatin awareness of competitive products and offerings

Always maintain high standards of professionalism, skills, and diplomacy to portray the company in a positive manner

Maintain a high priority on responding quickly and competently to external and internal stake holders on transactions and issues.

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Finance or Business, or an acceptable combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a relevant and equivelent capacity

Financial and mathematical aptitude required

Intermediate level of Financial Analysis

Knowledge of  leasing, financial structuring, business and contract law an asset

Superior communication, time management, and organization skills are essential

Critical thinker that can look “out of the box” for solutions. Ability to make tactical decisions as necessary

Ability to build and nurture business relationships at all levels with internal and external customers through outstanding interpersonal communication, problem solving, and presentation skills

Strong technology skills, both hardware and software

Willingness and ability to travel as required. Possess a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver's license and insurance.

Fully Bilingual (English/French)
