The Regional office for BNI British Columbia requires an Administrative Assistant for the Vancouver Office. This office serves the entire BNI Operation within British Columbia.

The Regional office for BNI British Columbia requires an Administrative Assistant for the Vancouver Office. This office serves the entire BNI Operation within British Columbia.

The successful incumbent will report to the Executive Director (Franchisee).

BNI is a marketing company that specializes in word-of-mouth referral marketing and is a leader in this field. With 21-years of experience, BNI BC is closely associated with BNI Canada and the 32 year-old parent organization, BNI Global with operations in 60 countries. There are currently 45 BNI Chapters in BC servicing 1,000 members. A business growth plan is currently being implemented.

This position will begin as a near full-time involvement with strong likelihood of progressing to full-time within one year.

The successful candidate will have :

- a minimum of 5-years work experience related to office systems and procedures

- good English writing and verbal skills

- familiarity with MS Office Suite and the Quick Books accounting software  an asset

- past experience working with Association or Membership organizations also an asset.

This important position will begin at an entry level but allows career progression as the work evolves to higher levels of responsibility.

The position begins with 25 hours per week and will allow for some flexibility in scheduling hours of work.
