Reporting to the Director of HR, the Human Resources Rep will provide consultation and support to managers in our multi-province locations.

The successful applicant has strong knowledge and experience with Canadian Employment Law, compensation, benefits administration, disability management, organizational development, Health & Safety, worker’s compensation management, HR administration and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to WORLDPAC Canada management and staff.


Partners with local management teams to address HR issues by applying appropriate HR strategies and policies.

Responds to teammate questions regarding employee benefits. Resolves and/or redirects payroll related questions.

Counsels local managers on company policies to achieve operational objectives, and how to effectively operate while remaining in compliance with all laws and regulations. AODA, Human Rights, ESA, WSIB/WCB to name a few.

Coaches supervisory level candidates in various programs.

Assists client leaders in HR functions such as disciplinary procedures and appropriate corresponding paperwork/documentation.

Becomes a sought-after internal business consultant to the management team through personal and professional development.

Assists managers and supervisors with employee relation matters and investigations when appropriate.

Coordinate a variety of programs and communications, i.e. performance and merit increase programs; recognition, etc.

Some travel required both locally and cross province

Required Skills

Bilingual: English & French an asset.

Knowledge of appropriate provincial ESA legislation and HR Best Practices pertaining to employment, compensation, benefits, recruitment and other related human resources functions.

Ability to interface with managers, supervisors and teammates.

Ability to verbally communicate with others in order to coach and provide direction.

Ability to interpret appropriate legislation and company policies.

Thrives in a fast paced environment - energetic and client-centric approach to customer service with the ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities.

Work Experience

Minimum 4-6 years related experience

Solid Human Resources Generalist experience in a multi-province and international organization an asset


Degree in Human Resource Management or related field

Must have or be working towards a CHRP or CHRL designation
