Lead ESD safe practices and tool calibration on the production line - Introduce and implement engineering changes to production workforce to ensure seamless transition.

Responsibilities:

Lead ESD safe practices and tool calibration on the production line

Introduce and implement engineering changes to production workforce to ensure seamless transition

Partner with the Quality Engineers to introduce new product to Production for manufacture and build

Troubleshoot, recommend, and resolve highly complex technical production requirements

Propose design changes and recommend improvements to production assembly methods 

Design, develop, and select tooling and jigs

Lead technical training in order to update technicians on change in work instructions and provide support to manufacturing production staff

Update assembly documentation, procedures, bills of materials related to engineering changes

Collaborate with and act on recommendations flowing from internal and external quarterly and yearly compliance audits

Conduct testing and experiments regarding equipment selection

Qualifications:

Ability to use sound engineering judgment and analytical skills to examine the big picture, get to the root cause of a problem, and guide others in the process

BSc Electro-Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent degree

Possess 7-plus year’s progressive experience in high tech/fast tech manufacturing environment

Proven track record of process improvement and strong troubleshooting skills for manufacturability

Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Excellent ability to communicate ideas verbally and in writing

Able to work effectively with minimal supervision or as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Possess a strong can do attitude and take hands on approach to deliver superior results

Top-notch interpersonal and teamwork skills with strong customer service orientation

Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Sound ability to prioritize issues and manage and drive multiple, competing tasks in fast paced, dynamic environment

Detail oriented, procedural in work flow, aptitude for accuracy
