As Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.



Builds and executes product launch plans

Works with the sales and application engineering teams with the development and maintenance of a product FAQ database

Supports specific strategic sales opportunities, including alignment of engineering and operations support with the sales team

Supports trade shows & promotional events and participates in events as a product expert when applicable

Defines warranty terms and participates in commercial contract reviews as a product subject matter expert

Ensures all order execution processes and systems are set up and aligned to market and business needs

Understands & is able to articulate the market technology and pricing trends

Performs in-depth competitive analysis, identifying strengths and weaknesses

Develops and maintains product strategy & roadmap addressing global and local market needs

Develops detailed Market Requirement Documents to implement the product roadmap

Manages the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through Product Withdrawal Process

Creates and maintains sales support material including brochures, datasheets, presentations and technical documentation

Works closely with the MarCom & technical writing teams to develop excellent collateral

Trains others on market forces, competitive positioning, product features and benefits

Other tasks and duties as assigned


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business required; MBA is an asset

Excellent written and verbal communication

Able to influencing & convince with facts and figures

Innovative and creative thinking

Technical understanding of the features of company`s products

Ability to understand and contribute to development of legal terms & conditions

Rigor and organization, attention to details

Understanding of the roles and needs of stakeholders

Knowledge of the specific industry market, customer by cycle and criteria, regulatory framework and competitors

Experience with fundamental marketing concepts, strategies and tools

Experience building business cases and getting senior executive level buy in for new products

Experience developing product launch plans

5 - 10 years of related experience in product management and marketing

Demonstrated track record managing technical products

Up to 25% travel
