SAXX Underwear Co. has an exciting opportunity for experienced Sales Support Agent to join our talented Sales Support team based at our Vancouver office location.

The sales support agent opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Sales Support Agent will be responsible for delivering exceptional service by becoming the SAXX expert, taking every challenge as an opportunity to improve the customer experience. Every query will be answered knowledgeably, kindly, swiftly and effectively with the goal of providing the best service ever. Focused primarily against our portfolio of North American SAXX Retail clients, the Sales Support Agent will service national multi-door customers while providing superior support to our SAXX account managers. You will be the expert in forecast management, reporting, electronic data integration (EDI) and value added services.

This role will also be active in the SAXX call center, answering general queries from Retailers as part of day-to-day business.

Responsibilities include:

   Establishing productive, professional relationships with account managers & key personnel in assigned territories

   Developing expertise in EDI, SPS, ERP and other order platforms on direction

   Assisting with the entering of orders, refunds, cancellations and warranties

   Checking accuracy of orders against purchase orders to ensure vendor pricing and terms requirements are met including rep commission

   Communicating discrepancies with buyers and account managers to modify orders

   Ensuring timely release of orders to the warehouse with clear instructions on services and routing

   Ensuring the conditions of vendor compliance manuals are implemented in full

   Managing flow of samples to account managers

   Answering incoming calls, emails and faxes with appropriate sales attitude and product knowledge

   Providing prompt responses to telephone calls and emails

   Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers

   Taking ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution

   Providing customer care to other territories when required during periods of staff vacation

What you bring to the table...

   You have minimum 2 years previous Customer Service experience (apparel industry preferred)

   You bring experience working with national multi-door customers including EDI order management, SPS Webforms, delivering value added services and vendor compliance

   You have an understanding of value added services and vendor compliance

   You have intermediate Excel skills including a solid grasp on pivot tables

   You check your ego at the door and roll up your sleeves

   You love the details and challenge yourself to be consistently accurate

   You have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills

   You have the ability to prioritize and have a sense of urgency when responding to clients

Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following experience:

   Managing call-off orders against bulk/contract orders in an ERP

   Bilingual (English/French)
