First thing first, what should you do during the early days following your arrival? The first thing on your mind might be to find a place to stay. But there are other administrative tasks to take care. We know it’s unpleasant, so we listed everything you will need to do when you arrive, from your Social Insurance Number to open a bank account.

Once you are done with the paperwork, you can start enjoying a bit of the Vancouverite life. But you’re in a new city and you might not know a lot of people. This is the perfect occasion to reach out to our community, whether it’s to meet new faces, get some advice or share your experience.

At some point, you will probably want to find a qualified job in Vancouver.
